Last night I parked in a new spot in the greater spot @ Deer Pass spot as it is getting more populated. Big moon night.
Today the van is to be fixed provided it will pull the hill into town. Just like an air cooled VW bus. Made the garage. Geared up for ride w/ Tom & Kelly, Paul Z, and Randy and Lisa. The first 3 arrived on Sat early enough to get a ride. On Sunday all 5 put together a ride. Tom has quite a few scrapes. Today it will be my lead. I laid in bed last night tracing out a route. Figured 1.
Took off. Randy has a TNT Turner 5 Spot, Lisa has a ’10 like mine. 3 Turner riders.
Carried my cell phone. Garage called, part arrived and installed but new problem discovered in a tear in an intercooler hose. Hose will be here tomorrow and installed. Drove down to BnB then up Beaverhead flats road and I believe my van still has issues. The wrench will sort it out.
Visited @ BnB. Last I visited was last Thurs. Concern there was rampant regarding my whereabouts. One beer w/ them put it all straight.
Have a fridge appointment in Cottonwood on Thurs. Fridge is still in warranty, suspect that the burner and exhaust stack need to be cleaned out. Need a very small chimney sweep.
I have decided to leave May 1 heading north. Faced w/ glass half full or empty. I am pretty comfortable here. Bidding goodbye to this all will be sad. It takes time to settle into a place and I will not spend this much time in another place.
Sedona Mountain Bike festival here this weekend. I have a 2:00 PM schedule for talking w/ me about my odyssey.
Upper 70s today w/ low humidity and a stiff breeze dehydrates.
