Eat, ride, eat, drink beer, shower… repeat tomorrow

Today is a 10:00 MBH shop ride. Just need to get up & get ready. The fridge is not making cold enough. I decided to throw the milk & yogurt away because of elevated temp. Made fried eggs instead of scrambled. Didn’t break the yolks. Drive into town climbs a sweeping hill into town. My van just pulsated up the hill. Please, climb it once more and the replace part will be on.

Made MBH. 2 women from Telluride joined. They were in snow yesterday. For them to be in shorts and seeing plants putting on their spring thing and no snow. Rode Bike Bath to HS the crossed the hwy to ride parts of a new 5 mile trail just built this last winter, it is purported to be the longest single piece of trail. Got hot under cloudless skies. I felt the heat and whatever is going on in my body so i bailed early w/ Timmy. Trails out in the desert. I am riding pretty good for strength & coordination. My breathing keeps me up w/ the older guys.

Just as I arrived @ my van my cell phone rang. It was Randy telling me they were settled down @ a restaurant in Uptown drinking margaritas. I scurried to join them. These 5 people from Spokane are people I have known for years thru mtn biking & skiing adventures. Randy & his wife Lisa, are both Turner riders. Lisa is riding a new 5 Spot, Randy is on the TNT suspension w/ a just newly PUSHed. He is happy. Paul Z and Tom & Kelle. They were able to satisfy the XG enforcers to allow Randy & Lisa to arrive and then pay for future nights. Cool. Somebody bought me dinner and a beer. To me this is so neat to host home town friends on rides here. We left w/ agreed meeting time for a ride tomorrow.

Tomorrow I limp up the hill to the garage for them putting their healing wrenches and a new part on my van.

Back out @ Deer Pass rd. I checked out the horse campers clean up. I was impressed as I saw no piles of road apples. It appears that they raked it all up & hauled it away for the most part. Koodos for them.

Today it was 92 @ 3:00, then 78 @ 6:15. Pleasant breeze is blowing thru the van. 8:36 it is 75 degrees.

Steroid raise my heart rate then I rev it up some more w/ the strenuous climbs. And the heat got to me.

I bought a paper storage box and file folders to revise my record filing mess. All of my papers in one spot & better organized.

My feet feel tingle like they are partially asleep. Sometimes my hands feel the same.
