Wingnut is the answer

Woke b4 dawn and tossed and turned, finally up just after 6. Put the move action on and got after life. Grocery shop then laundromat. Clean clothes w/ the line dry items hanging on the clothes line strung across the back of the van. Nice to see riding apparel clothes pinned up. Most of the pins are from my former house and in use continuously since 1992.

Made MBH where I loaded the stuff from the Osprey into the Wingnut then wear it to learn of collar bone pain. Packed passed. Weight is borne low held by a  hip belt. Not real contact w/ the healing fracture. I now have 4 packs inside my van.

Forecast was for rain by 11:00 and high winds. I approached my day per the forecast resigning myself to no ride. Rain held off ( as of 7:55PM no rain has fallen) filling my head w/ riding. I drove back down to BnB to ride the familiar and more gentle trails. Rode Bell pathway to Llama to Little horse to HT to biker made trails Made in the shade and lower shades back to shop. Pack worked well. Should not have eaten the stickie bun @ bagel shop while I read the paper. Hard getting the sugar out of my belly. Spent much o0f ride gasping for breath and a high HR. Doing well  getting back into riding. I will start lengthening the rides.

Shower @ the spa, buy a small piece of salmon @ NEW frontiers for dinner. Drive back to Deer pass. Same van is parked in my favorite spot. I checked it out and my belief it is a place holder for a future camper.

Forecast put off the snow for tonight. Supposed to rain then showers.

Today the wind was blowing drifting sand over the trails in spots. Rain will wet the sand grains, hold them together, and the tires will pack then down. Great riding several days after rain until the sun dries them out. Humidity is low for the norm.

Rear suspension really works better w/o propedal. Next step is to swap out the Fox for the rock shox PUSH tuned Monarch.
