I don’t want to live in front of this thing

Time goes by as I make it pass, I often forget how I spent a day. Some high lights stand out. Visiting w/ folks is an exchange that does not get recorded as an event of the day. However, today I spent 2 hours engaged in problem identification of the housing market, big business, & economics for 2 hours standing up w/o liquid libations w/ Rick, a friend of Danny’s. Someday there will be an uprising of the middle class masses against the keepers of the gold. We will take up pitchforks and torches and storm their gated communities. We are mad as hell but can’t figure out how to skew the results a little bit more towards the “common” man.

My blood PT value is a stable 1.9 on 4 mg of coumadin per day. No fear of bleeding out, maybe just bruise more readily.

Today I was working w/ my stored pictures sharing a few w/ guys @ BnB. I looked for pics of like the east coast 2008 and couldn’t find them on the thumb drives and hard drive. I remember validating my transfer methodology and assured myself I was saving the pics to some storage. It wasn’t on the thumb drives. Shit, I lost all of the early pics. I was bummed as Tony listened to my explicatives. Dejectedly i walked back to my van. Oooo. I remembered my external hard drive. I grabbed it and the computer and walked back to BnB. I connected the cords & cables and searched. Viola! I have them saved. I even found a pic that I have searched for years to find. This is of friend Bruce of Pisgah Works and his compatriots of underground Asheville, NC mtn bike scene. Catch the attitude, so cool.

Bruce, Justin, & Beth on Kitsuma outide of Ashevilleback on the trainer tomorrow. Collar bone is hurting less each day.

Hiking and spinning

Still here in Sedona.

Rain weather coming in for tonight and Monday.

Today I hiked 4 miles on Old Post and Carrol Canyon, 2 system trails that I have never ridden all of them. Hiker trails w/ steeper grades and wider than social trails hidden around. Part way around perhaps a bug hit me leaving me a bit weazey that still continues.

Sat I spun for 60 mins sweating then dripping onto my top tube before splattering on pavement.

Sat was Spring Fling. I putzed around West Sedona b4 heading down to festivities @ BnB. Didn’t seem to be as many riders this year as last. Turner Bikes had a demo fleet set up. I spoke w/ Thane about his travels w/ Turner.

Last night I was able to more comfortably sleep on my belly like I used to. Haven’t burned the heater for several nights now.

Biggest full moon was filtered thru clouds.

Still staying in Danny’s neighbors side yard. I have not tested my arm on my bed as Danny has spared me of that task.

Making the days go by

Today my rig was serviced for 84,000 mile  check up. Flushed the transmission, changed the oil, filter, and fuel filter plus checked it over. Good to go, it is wearing well. Yesterday my mouth passed scrutiny. And I ordered new prescription  lenses in my old frames, this time w/o photo gray. Today I am close up seeing using  older ‘script half glasses.

The collar bone ends appear to be stationary yet there is still infrequent pain pill pain. Today I placed the most strenuous load yet while riding 6o mins on the windtrainer. Not lifting my upper arm. Am concerned about possible tendon damage which can’t be ascertained until I am able to raise my arm. Still sleeping on my back.

The Red Agave Resort here in Oak Creek is throwing a party for me on April 23 celebrating my 1000 days of Mountain Biking the States. I am permitted to ask anybody I want. I have relished reconnecting w/ people I have met during my travels. Yall come ride here where I am almost a local and I can share rides w/ you. Wait for me @ the intersections for my directions, keep me in sight, and I will lead an exciting ride.

Life goes on.

Tomorrow Zags play ST Johns in the first round of NCAA championship.
