last night the surgeon called per our appointment. i did not join his handful of unfixable shoulders. he was able to stitch the torn stuff back together. he said that i tore some of the previous repair and it didn’t look like i healed well from that repair. concern is blood supply to tendons which don’t receive much anyway and that the tendons have been previously damaged. i need to learn what i am able to do to increase the blood supply. i have control over voluntary muscles during PT when that time comes. i gave him healthy material to work with except for the damage.
moved out of duff’s to sunshower’s rented room. new social standards to learn. i imagine i will live mostly away from her place, sleeping and showering.
my idea now is to stay here in sedona until start pt then head out on a road trip, destination prineville,or. i’m thinking a visit to bill in the zunis and mark and brenda in salida.
i sat outside again yesterday in the sun reading again. i have a very red head.
rain is forecast here over the next several days and chilly.
i drove today for the first since last thurs. right hand ignition requires me to stand between the seats then turn the key w/ my left hand. the seat belt requires too much twisting to insert the belt catch into the receiver down on the floor. driving w/o a seatbelt. i successfully negotiated the 2 round abouts.
i sit on the front porch of the bean. i came up w/ an idea to create humor. jan will make a sign for me to the effect of “stories told about mountain biking the states. learn how your state’s trails compare. 50 cents per story. picture of you w/ jp is free.” i will figure a suitable collection container.
i watched the snl skit, down by the river. motivational speaker. i have lots of time but am unable to roll doobies w/ just 1 hand, besides i vape. over my travels i have slept down by the river in places that aren’t as white trash as what the skit suggested that would happen as a result of smoking pot. time will tell how stereotypes of pot smokers will change. border states to Colorado which is making tax revenue from pot, hence is in a bind to increase demand and say, Kansas, which is causing public schools to close early because of tax cutting governor and pot is still a crime. Colorado will have better funded schools as the tax is self imposed.
