Huff and Puff

Today was a jaunt to Cottonwood.

I now have N2 in all tires, a sort of washed van, groceries, diesel, and a visit to Zoomers but no Dean as it was his day off.

I chatted w/ the wrench @ Zoomers. He described the trails out of Dead Horse SP. Bottom line, a bit of nasty erosion. I drove back to Sedona.

No snow in Cottonwood. I parked @ Culture Center where there still is a skiff of snow in the shade. I rode Western Civ to Ledge n’ airy to Girdner. Short ride. The hills kill me. Hand built trail is skinny and has exposure. On the shaded aspects compact snow covered the trail. tires had a good bite coupled w/ sufficient body language to stay upright. The trails out in Dry Creek area are not as technical as VOC. Beautiful cloudless blue sky and red rock w/ evergreen greens added for relief. Just beautiful.

My seat dropper does just that and more very quickly as the bleed was successful.

I washed the van and vacuumed the carpet.

A shower @ Snap and I was back out at Deer Pass.

Weather is remaining clear and gradually warming. Day temps are in mid 40s and night is upper 20s.
