Wheels are starting to wobble

Figure of speech, my bike is fine, it is the engine that is starting to exhibit failure signs.

Short version another pulmonary embolism was discovered in my left lung. I had been feeling a fluttering in my chest last weekend. On Monday I bounced between the hospital parking lot postponing turning myself in and the UC. I drove back across town to the UC where I had been going. Got to see same DR. EKG came back normal. But other symptoms caused her to be concerned about my heart. I drove back across town to the hospital and this time entered the ER. I spent the next bunch of hours being examined. Blood was taken, hooked up to EKG, wheeled to CT for a scan with contrast, then returned to my niche. Results were presented to me: coumadin failure allowed this embolism. Treatment is back on lovenox injections 2X and no coumadin. Healthy enough to be discharged. DR said listen to my body, concern is embolism could grow or dislodge. Possible life time of shooting up. Stuff is expensive guessing $300/ mo.

Fire smoke is back again but not from nearby fires like last year. Air quality has been into red zone and below, never green. My recovery this week was a respite from breathing exercise induced smoke.  Forecast has been better tomorrow but clear air has not materialized.

I made appointments in Spokane on Mon and Tues. Devils gulch is a level above bad for health. Will skip it. I envision leaving Bend on Sunday and driving part way to Spokane then finishing the drive on Mon. Fire smoke here until fall rains whenever they fall.

Might return to Bend to continue recovery /  treatment.

Follow up PT session had me writhing in anguish under the pushing fingers of the PT. Only his pressure onme kept me on his table. His recovery plan is my self induced pain rolling my legs on a roller. I have followed his program at snap where more room allows full extension. I whimper when I find tight spots of which there are quite a few on my left leg. My pelvis is orientated correctly to the world and I walk as I should. Much better. Abdominal pain is mostly gone.
