6 loveinox syringes were prescribed, one in the morning second later in the day. my right hand is captured by the super sling not allowing me to inject myself, i sought shooters from bike and bean. matt, who drove me home gave the first shot. sat morn i gave the story to lars, president of vvcc and an emt. sat night and sun morn was amy, a nurse, visiting tyson who works at bnb. sun night it was sarah, a nurse married to zack. mon am was shane, an emt ski patrol etc. i got ‘er done w a little help from my friends.
i walk the 200 yds to bnb for socializing and oatmeal bfast. walking a little further i arrive at a thai restaurant for dinner. i haven’t driven since last thurs. i get sun warmed and batteries charged wher i park behind red agave. i staying in duff’s spare bed room till fri morn. i haven’t moved in as time is short.
i bought new headphones that i wear all night listening to my old music. soft leather ear cups are comfortable. my memory foam bed rest pillow props me up keeping the load off my shoulder.
today my bowls finally let go ending constipation caused by the pain med. stool softener finally kicked.
last night duff arrived w/a scared running free dog, Chihuahua mix. he performed a big heart rescue. she is afraid of us but trust is building w/ me as i spent time outside w/ her while she was leashed.
yesterday shane rose to my challenge for an inner tube sling so i could take a shower because i need it and water would not be good to the sling. today i removed the sling and shirt and wrapped the tube around my neck and looped around my right forearm, the arm was fully supported per release instructions. very conservative approach to healing.
yesterday afternoon i called surgeon’s aid to learn about surgery. got voice mail. i left a message asking my question. voice mail said i would be answered w/i 24 hours. today at maybe hour 23. another aid but for the same surgeon answered. very difficult to receive patient info. i was told i needed to have a signed release permission form to just to receive the surgeon’s report of what was done but not the surgeon’s assessment. i was told she would email the report. i assumed that would happen by end of business. no such performance. i still do not know of my shoulder’s future. tomorrow?
