Too Much Too Soon

I boogied during yesterday’s body test ride while receiving no too much of a good thing warning. I chose wisely to curtail my exuberance as my scapula started squawking during the return. Back at the van I had pain loading my bike back on van which continued now the norm. Sneezing or coughing hit the red zone on the pain dial. Back on Tylenol. One last scheduled PT session today.

Yesterday evening while parked at the cultural park cleaning up dinner fixings Jason, an old time Beaner, stopped by for short visit. Over time I have made more friends here in Sedona than anywhere else. So enjoyable for those to reconnect.

Last night I drove across 89A to the high school for the Banff film festival. I bought my ticket on line then picked it up at the venue. I hustled in and scored a prime seat. A woman sat beside me then said something about seats were reserved. I was not in hers. However, I looked at my ticket and saw my reserved ticket which wasn’t where I was. I scooted out then searched for my row and seat in the dark. I found the row where the seats were even numbered and I was odd. It was at row’s end. Nobody challenged me. Theater was not packed. At intermission with lights on I found my seat which again was at row’s end. Previous festivals seating was unassigned.

One film was about a boat building company up at Flag, they make dories for floating the Grand Canyon. Boat building in landlocked Flagstaff, what kind of boats? The film creator’s name and pic displayed, it was Dawn Kish who did the photo shoot for the Bikemag June 2010 article about me. The center fold pic has been displayed on the side of my van since shortly after publication of mag. I emailed her this AM complimenting her on her recognition, she replied remembering me.

This morn’s temp is in low 40s, even snow flurries fell. March weather has been short shirt sleeves then back to flannel.
