OK, now I have a plan

Calm to 50 mph winds are forecasted until Sunday. Today the winds were rocking my van while parked. Because of my lack of destination plan I chose to stay here in Flag to avoid driving in the high winds and blowing dust.

My now plan is to be in Moab on Tuesday to pick up my home blood testing device. I will be able to test my blood weekly to manage my coumadin dosage. I am setting up an appointment w/ an endocrinologist in Grand Junction, CO to deal w/ my Hyper thyroid.

Again, living on the road has some down si fucking laptop software. Lost much of my blog. I quit.

You think you have problems?

Between my problems and this computer and software I can just spit. I lost the beginning of this post. Recreating it might make a different story.

I can be where ever whenever I want to be. Fortunately I am not in tornado alley.

I returned to Flag for an ortho appointment today. A new X-ray was taken and compared to the last one taken. New bone growth is occurring. My shoulder pain is caused by the bone ends moving against each other which is a good thing. I was offered the option of surgically joining the bone ends or waiting for my body to do the work. In 2 months if I am not happy I can review my decision. I celebrated w/ a ride in the Dry Hills area where I have been riding. I really fucked up my collar bone as the fall was a compression on the shoulder that splintered the collar bone. I have a big knot at the fracture site.

My shortness of breath is getting worse. I took off yesterday to allow the last antibiotic to work its effect on my bronchitis. I scored an appointment @ Ascot garage to replace my air filter. Joe recommended the shop.  Existing filter was a dust storm. New one right out of the box. At least I can improve the breathing of my van engine.

Camped back out @ Fort Valley road.

Today I called the pulmonologist in ST George, UT and asked for advice and help. She said that I have mild to moderate COPD whatever that qualification means. I told her about the bronchitis I have which is not responding to antibiotics. The bronchitis is caused by the Advair. She prescribed another med, Spiriva, Read More

Back in Flag

No daylight savings, feel free to pack a piece, the state spends more on incarceration than on education.

fast AM split to Farmington Dodge garage for van check. Hooked up to computer where no error codes were displayed. mechanic drove it for 11 miles perhaps for coffee & treats and reported all systems are go. And I am gone, except I discovered I am missing my h2o jug. Fortunately I was still in Farmington when I discovered the missing jug. Drove back and it was where i was sitting.

Drove US 64, 160, & 89 to Flag fighting  strong winds. Experienced lots of blowing dust, some places it seemed like I was driving thru drifting snow. Van paint job was roughed up. Saw many motorcyclists on the road. I would say they are emptying sand from their shorts.

Hit the swimming pool for a much needed shower. Stopped @ Instant care to have my blood clotting time tested. Up to 2.1 the thinnest i have been.

Drove out to camp spot that Joe told me about.

Turned the clock back to AZ time. I am sleepy on NM time.

Just a driving day. Tomorrow maybe a ride.
