High @ Breckenridge

Left Brighton after van service. Headlights have been reaimed to be higher. Prior they were too low, I overdrove them. Bought another 2 gallons of artesian spring h2o & headed west over the divide on I-70. Grace was a social coordinator between me & Angel who arrived @ XG b4 me, found last 2 sites, told Grace who called metold me the campsite number  who then drove to campsite. Angel & Jen. Talked w/ them for awhile when I understood that Scott & Lonny were going to ride leaving from Tiger Run closer to B-ridge.  Geared up quickly & headed into B ridge on bike trail. Plan was to catch bus up ski hill rd to start of peaks trail. Took some sluething to figure out bus which could carry only 2 bikes, we were 3, bus ran on hour. Gondola ride was free, but to carry your bike it cost 15. Lonny brought his wallet to pay for gondola ride. He gets to gondola and he rides for free as the ticket office is closed.

Rode Peaks trail all way down to Frisco then rode bike path S and up to Tiger Run where Lonny et. al are staying in a big 5th wheel in resort XG in a buddy’s loaner.

I’m w/ Grace’s gang @ Peak one XG S of Frisco. Mike Pace, Angel & Jen, Tom, John Dunbar arrived late Sat afternoon & left.

Elevation @ 9,000 and up to 11,000 leaves me just crushed.

Rocky Mtns, 14,000′ peaks.

Absinthe bar in B-ridge. Medical pot, B-ridge leaves you alone for under an ounce. Big tourist area.

Today attempted a solo ride using a new map that shows just the trails &/ or roads to ride but leave out what is really on the ground. Climbed up an old mining road to 11,800 per map. Not the route I read on the map. Route was .7 miles, w/o glasses I read 7 miles.

Gotta socialize. Grace is staying @ Tiger run, not here w/ bigger gang
